Acorn rutilalted quartz pendant

This pendant is carefully crafted in our own workshop. It is a unique piece with a rose gold loop. The stone is a rutilated quartz, polished in the shape of an acorn, and measures 1.5 cm in size.

Rutilated quartz is a variety of quartz characterized by the presence of rutile needles (golden, thin crystals) within the stone. These needles are inclusions of the mineral rutile (titanium dioxide, TiO₂), which were trapped inside the quartz during its formation.

• Hardness: 7 on the Mohs scale (like other quartz varieties).
• Luster: Vitreous (glassy).
• Form: Occurs as crystals, geodes, or tumbled stones.
